What is Oneness Deeksha
(or the Oneness Blessing)?
Oneness Deeksha is a very powerful transfer of energy for awakening into higher states of consciousness and over time is designed to bring about a state of Oneness.
This happens through a neuro-biological change in the brain that when complete enables the senses to be free from the interference of the mind. When the senses are unclouded, a natural clarity occurs with spontaneous feelings of joy, inner calm and connection to the Oneness in everything. You experience life as it actually is.
“Deeksha” in Sanskrit means benediction. Oneness Deeksha has been brought to the world at this time of transformation through Divine Grace and is being given to humanity by the twin avatars of enlightenment Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma out of the Oneness University in India as a catalyst for the awakening of human consciousness.
It is not something that can really be put into words. It has to be experienced.
What are the effects of Oneness Deeksha?
Experiences during the hands-on blessing vary enormously from one person to another, and even for the same person, from one Blessing to another, sometimes strong, sometimes subtle, sometimes delayed until even days later.
Commons experiences include; sensations, or energy flowing through the body, emotions arising or sometimes nothing notable at all. Ultimately, what happens during the hands-on blessing doesn’t matter so much, as it’s just a beginning. Whatever your experience here, you can trust that the energy is Divinely intelligent and that your process of Awakening has been initiated and accelerated.
The process is often blissful, and sometimes, as memories or feelings that have been stored in the body are brought to the surface, there may be a temporary experience of discomfort as the “blocks” fall away. Fortunately, the Deeksha energy also expands the strength of your Presence in being able to fully experience what arises and to “be okay with what you’re not okay with.” The process of awakening could be gradual or sudden in nature, depending on many factors.
Those who receive the Oneness Blessing, either one time or repeatedly over weeks or months, report that it impacts their lives in many ways.
Most people report a deeper sense of peace and calm in the midst of external change, and a sense of happiness that has no outer cause. People also commonly report health issues clearing up, greater intimacy and harmony in relationship, greater creativity and capacity to make decisions, often resulting in greater worldly and financial success and wellbeing. Eventually, receiving the Oneness Blessing over a prolonged period leads to a profound and direct Awakening into Oneness with all that is.
Who can receive Oneness Deeksha?
Anyone of any age may receive the Oneness Blessing, including children, babies and pets. If someone is suffering from a severe psychological illness, the Oneness Blessing can be given under the supervision of a licensed professional.
Is the recipient expected to adhere to any particular religion or belief system?
No. Oneness Deeksha is not a religion, nor is it a particular spiritual path or set of beliefs. It is simply here to help awaken humanity to our oneness and unity - to anyone who seeks it, no matter what path they chose to follow. Oneness Deeksha is given to millions of people all over the world by people of all races, religions and spiritual practices.
It is a gift of Grace given to help all of humanity have the direct experience of Oneness.
How is the Oneness Blessing transferred?
Oneness Deeksha is transferred by the Oneness Facilitator standing in front of you and placing his or her hands onto the crown of your head, usually for about 1 minute. Note: Sometimes the giver’s hands vibrate or shake when surges of energy come through. No worries, it’s safe.
Oneness Deeksha can also be given through the power of intention without touching the person at all. In this way hundreds or even thousands of people can receive it at the same time. Just let Sylvia know if you’d like to receive intention blessings during her daily meditation or at certain times when you want extra support. Deeksha is given in the spirit of service and compassion.
Who can offer the Oneness Blessing to others?
Oneness Deeksha can be transferred by anyone who has received the initiation and training during a special process at the Oneness University. The Oneness Blessing Giver then works, as an empty vessel, for the energy to transfer to the recipient.
What about the donation?
The donation is intended to open the flow of receiving for the recipient and show gratitude to the giver. Experience has shown that it is much more effective when there is an appropriate exchange of energy, than if no exchange takes place – it is a balance.
Please check in with your heart and offer whatever feels balanced to you.
Suggestions for receiving Oneness Deeksha
Any thoughts that put you in an open, relaxed and receptive state are helpful. You may want to hold an intention, prayer or simply gratitude as you receive the Deeksha blessing.
When it’s your turn to receive the blessing, please lean forward so it’s easier for the giver to reach your head. It is ideal to lay down for 15 to 20 minutes after the Deeksha to help assimilate the blessing most effectively. However, if the situation doesn't permit, you can just relax with your eyes closed.
How many blessings are recommended?
That depends on the depth of awakening you want and on many, variables that are unique to you (spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, karmic, ancestral, childhood conditioning, traumas, etc.).
The egoic mind is like a wall that stands between you and God, and Deeksha makes a hole in that wall. The larger the hole, the more you can experience Oneness or the Divine.
Sometimes the first Oneness Blessing only makes a small hole, or just makes a chip, or a small dent in the "wall." On rare occasions the entire wall will instantly come tumbling down with the very first blessing, but for most people the result lies somewhere in between.
If your "walls' suddenly came crashing down, and you immediately and totally merged with God, the sudden change could make it difficult for you to function in your everyday life, even if it were only for a short period of time.
To have this process be gradual, it is recommended to wait a week between blessings and have no more than 7 blessings in a day. My suggestion is to continue having Oneness Blessings until you reach the state of awakening you desire.
How do I know if it’s working?
Simply notice how you’re experiencing everyday life as it is – in relationships with your family, co-workers, in all the parts of your day-to-day, mundane life. See how much you are experiencing Presence/Oneness as you go through the day. How deeply you are experiencing things exactly as they are?
The evolution of consciousness is not becoming free of everything, but being with everything. Maybe you're angry, but you are able to feel comfortable with the anger. You can fully experience everything with the background of Presence.
Watch for this shift. It is the most important way to check whether you are growing.
How did the Oneness Blessing come about at this time?
Many people agree that we must pass through a quantum leap in the evolution of collective consciousness, if humans are to survive. The Oneness Blessing, brought forward at this time has the potential to precipitate millions of people into an Awakening into Oneness, the essential foundation for a new phase of human life.
